More Sad News for Plant Industrial Workers
On October 23, 2018 around 3 PM, a transport bus full of industrial workers lost control, overturned and rolled several times down an embankment. The crash happened on Highway 36 in Freeport, Texas.
The bus was transporting Zachry industrial workers from a job site to a designated parking lot. Aaron Green of Dayton, Texas was killed, and several others were injured. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families during this difficult time.
Sadly, while those harmed are dealing with the aftermath, the bus company is sifting through the evidence and preparing its legal defense.
The industry has seen this type of tragedy before. I have personally handled similar cases. In one case, investigation revealed that the driver of the bus did not have the proper CDL credentials and was made to drive an unsafe bus.
An early investigation by attorneys and experts representing the accident victims is crucial. Such an early investigation will level the playing field for the families in dealing with insurance companies and their lawyers.
